Olivette is a full-service Home Rule Charter city with a Council‐Manager form of government with the City Council electing a Mayor from amongst the five elected Council members. A City Manager is responsible for directing, supervising, and monitoring all City departments, personnel, and operations, and managing the City in a fiscally prudent manner.

With an operating budget of $8.7 million, Olivette provides a wide array of services, including police and fire protection, building inspections, and public works, with 104 full-time employees.

Located in the sought-after Ladue  School District, Olivette is devoted to providing our residents with an excellent quality of life offering a diversity of housing options ranging from single-family homes to apartments, solidifying Olivette a place anyone can reside.
