Cathy Hester has over 35 years of experience serving the insurance industry. Cathy began her insurance career working for a small independent agency in Winter Haven, Florida in 1976 where she learned the basics of policy coverage, underwriting, and claims. She took this knowledge to Mobile, Alabama in 1982, where she again worked for an independent insurance agency before going to work for a small independent adjusting company where she handled multiline claims. She then worked on CAT teams and served as a TPA for an account she handled for 20 years. Cathy also handled multi-line claims for various insurance companies, many of which CJ Hester still services today.

In September 2021, C J Hester was acquired by ClaimsPro, an independent adjusting and claims management leader in North America and an SCM company. Cathy J. Hester and her team provide claims services and special investigations throughout the Southeastern U.S., including Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee. The CJ Hester team of adjusters enhances ClaimsPro’s existing roster of adjusters with additional expertise and areas of specialization including catastrophic and large volume events in hurricane-prone areas.
