Since 1983 Clamshell Buildings has manufactured versatile tensioned fabric structures and provided excellent solutions alternate to steel or concrete buildings. At Clamshell Buildings we design and build clear-span, aluminum framed tension fabric buildings for customers worldwide. Our buildings are pre-engineered using structural 6061 aluminum and built to withstand severe weather conditions. Features include lightweight modular design for ease of installation and portability, and an industrial grade PVC fabric weather-shell membrane for long-term use.
Clamshell Buildings is a long-time supporter of US military operations, providing buildings such as Large Area Maintenance Shelters (LAMS), used for aircraft hangars, tank and vehicle maintenance facilities, and many other critical base applications. 
Clamshell Buildings’ innovative shelters are ideal for commercial applications across many different industries. Our commercial grade shelters come in a wide range of widths and lengths and can be adjusted to meet site conditions. Anchoring on an existing site over concrete, asphalt, or bare earth is easily achieved. Our shelters are not only strong yet lightweight and engineered to meet stringent local building codes.
From our location in Oxnard, California, we manufacture our buildings within our 50k square-foot facility and we are near ocean and air transportation hubs in Los Angeles.
