CLASP is a nonprofit organization focused on the role of efficient appliances in addressing climate change and improving people's lives. With about 25 years of experience and offices on four continents, it collaborates with policymakers, industry, and technical experts to translate knowledge into practical pathways toward a more sustainable world. Based in the District of Columbia, the organization engages policymakers and industry partners worldwide to advance appliance efficiency and related policy. In March 2026, CLASP co-signed a memorandum of understanding with the Government of Makueni County at the Kenya International Investment Conference in Nairobi to accelerate clean cooking transitions across public institutions as part of the Modern Energy Cooking Services program. The agreement reflects ongoing international collaboration to promote efficient, cleaner energy solutions through policy and institutional engagement.
