The Cleveland Metroparks Zoo is a government-administered wildlife institution based in Cleveland, Ohio. Since 1995, it has contributed more than $6.5 million to wildlife conservation worldwide in partnership with the Cleveland Zoological Society. It was among the earliest AZA institutions to establish a field-based conservation initiative, reflecting a long-standing emphasis on conservation beyond traditional exhibits.
