Climate Fund Managers is a climate-focused blended finance investment manager operating in emerging markets across Africa, Asia, and Latin America. The firm raises and deploys blended climate finance funds in partnership with public and private sector actors to deliver climate-resilient solutions at scale. Established in 2015 as a joint venture between Dutch development bank FMO and Sanlam InfraWorks, the company is based in The Hague, South Holland, and maintains offices in Cape Town, Singapore, and Bogotá. It holds assets under management in excess of USD 2.8 billion and runs Climate Investor One, Two and Three, with a portfolio of around 50 active projects; it has recently expanded into private credit through the GAIA Climate Loan Fund. In May 2026 the firm announced expansion of facilities to South Africa and Southern Africa, including a Climate Investor Three commitment of up to USD 4 million to develop a wastewater-to-green-methanol facility in Gauteng via the SA-H2 Fund. In April 2026 Climate Fund Managers was named Investor of the Year (Asset Manager) at the Environmental Finance Sustainable Debt Awards.
