Based in Washington, District of Columbia, the organization is part of the Movies, Videos and Sound industry and operates as a relatively small-to-mid-sized entity. Its target audience comprises individuals aiming to break into film who want practical experience and on-screen credits. In 2017, Co-Operative Studios announced a partnership with Coveris, reflecting a collaboration reported in the press.
