CARA is a New York City-based nonprofit in the education sector focused on helping first-generation, low-income, and students of color gain the knowledge and support needed to enroll in and persist through postsecondary education. The organization partners with public high schools, community-based organizations, and higher education institutions to broaden access and move guidance from a selective enrichment to a universal entitlement.
