Now a multi-million dollar business, Colony Tire started out in 1976 with just two gasoline pumps in Rodanthe, NC. Later that year a small oil company in Edenton was purchased. In 1979, Colony purchased a small oil company in Roper, NC and became a Farm Bureau tire dealer there. We began selling Goodyear tires in 1980. Today, Colony Tire is a 100% Employee-owned company and one of the leading tire distributors in North America. Nearly 1,000 associates operate 225 vehicles and 35 locations in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and Tennessee.
