The Colorado Coalition Against Sexual Assault (CCASA) is a statewide nonprofit organization established in 1984 to serve as the collective voice for rape crisis advocates across Colorado. Based in Denver, it operates within the civic and social sectors, offering technical assistance, training, information and referrals, educational materials, statewide systems change, and public policy education and advocacy to its members and the broader community. Its membership spans a diverse range of stakeholders—including sexual assault survivors, victim advocates, rape crisis centers, law enforcement, prosecutors, public health entities, higher education institutions, medical professionals, offender treatment programs, public officials, and related organizations—reflecting a focus on coordinating resources and support to address sexual assault. CCASA’s recent activities include campaigns and resources designed to help survivors identify, understand, and access care for sexual assault, illustrating its role in public-facing advocacy and education.
