The Colorado Lottery creates and sells lottery games of chance that are held to the highest standards of integrity, efficiency and entertainment, in order to maximize proceeds for the people of Colorado. The Colorado State Lottery began in 1983 with just a single scratch game. Today, there are a variety of scratch and jackpot games. Since its inception, the Lottery has contributed more than $2.8 billion to the state of Colorado.
