Columbia Group of companies consists of three operating companies including Columbia Coastal Transport, Columbia Container Service and Columbia Intermodal.

Columbia Coastal Transport, LLC is the leader in essential containerized cargo feeder services operating in the U.S today. Established in 1990, the company celebrates its 25th year providing reliable U.S. flag feeder barge services on the Marine Highway linking ports in North America plus Freeport, Bahamas and Cuba.

Columbia Coastal routinely transports twenty, forty and forty-five foot containers, including refrigerated units, aboard modern feeder barges.  Only state-of -the-art lashing gear and reefer power packs are used to assure cargo integrity at all times.  The company also provides expert project cargo, heavy-lift and oversized freight logistics services. Its experienced management staff will coordinate all aspects of project moves such as, but not limited to:

•Heavy haul truck/rail coordination
•Lift-on/lift-off at all points
•Roll-on/Roll-off barges with access to shallow & undeveloped ports
•Turnkey operations that adhere to schedule
•Coordination with local port and government authorities

Columbia Container Services is the equipment repair and storage arm of the Columbia Group of Companies. Conveniently located within the Port of NY/NJ and in the Port of Boston, the company manages off-site equipment depots and also does repairs for containers, trailers and chassis. 

Columbia Intermodal is the trucking and chassis arm of the Columbia Group of Companies. It operates a first class off-dock chassis pool in the Port of Boston.
