The Columbia River Maritime Museum in Astoria, Oregon, preserves and interprets the region's maritime history through exhibits, programs, and collections. Founded in 1962, it is Oregon's official state maritime museum and was the first in the state to achieve national accreditation. It has partnered with schools and districts to offer hands-on learning activities for students. In 2020 it partnered with the Vancouver School District Foundation, and in 2021 it collaborated with Nerland district to create educational activities. These collaborations help reach educators and learners beyond the museum's galleries.
