In the beginning, the center survived and thrived because parents provided financial support, facility maintenance, and program supervision. It was a labor of love for the ones they loved.

Today, Columbus is recognized locally and nationally as a well-established, innovative nonprofit agency. We work strategically with many stakeholders to support individuals with disabilities so they can make informed decisions and live with independence in the community.
