The Combat Control Foundation (CCF) is a small nonprofit based in Mary Esther, Florida, established in 2021 to support Combat Controllers, their families, and the broader military special operations community. It organizes its work around four areas—Resilience, Wellness, Education, and Heritage—with the goal of reducing stress and enhancing the community's ability to navigate hardship. Under First There 4 Resiliency, the foundation provides emergency assistance, grief counseling, funeral expense coverage, and support for daily needs such as cell service and daycare, as well as retreats for healing and help with professional requirements like certifications and legal matters. First There 4 Wellness offers financial and logistical aid to CCT members facing critical injuries or illnesses and to their families, aiming to relieve burdens during recovery. First There 4 Education and First There 4 Heritage fund higher education opportunities for CCT family members—particularly in remote duty locations—and preserve the unit's legacy through camps, events, and memorial support, fostering camaraderie and recognition of their heritage.
