What the heck is ComedyCity? ComedyCity is a troupe of improvisational comedy performers. We feature 4 shows each week, and because it’s improvisation, you never see the same show twice. ComedyCity is the longest running comedy club in Northeast Wisconsin – We’ve been performing in and around the area since 1987. What is Improv? Improvisation is the ability to create and perform spontaneously or without preparation. In short, nothing is scripted, we make stuff up on the spot. It’s comedy without a net. When are the shows? • Fridays & Saturdays @ 7:30 & 9:30pm What are ComedyCity shows like? Each of our shows features a group of performers that entertain with a series of short scenes, songs & sketches based on audience suggestions. So we might ask for your favorite animal, or something you find in your garage, and the players take that suggestion and create the action on stage. Shows usually feature two teams competing head to head, and a referee keeping things moving along. But, because it’s improv and we like to shake things up, there may be more or less performers and there may even be a theme for the night. Shows last about 90 minutes with an intermission. How much is it? • Admission is $12 for adults / $10 for students. Shows tend to fill up fast, so reservations are recommended. Where is ComedyCity located? ComedyCity performs inside The Green Room Lounge, 353 Main Ave. in dowtown West De Pere, WI. Parking and the entrance are around back off Reid Street.
