CADY has an outstanding success story that includes exemplary coalition-building, high-level collaborations, and stellar outcomes recognized on the national and state levels with awards and accolades. We engage a broad pool of community partners, stakeholders, and resources to build community capacity and youth resiliency through a three-tiered strategy of information, education and collaboration to prevent and reduce the harms of substance misuse and addiction. With over 25 years of experience in prevention, coalition-building, and community engagement, CADY (Communities for Alcohol- and Drug-free Youth) is proud to offer the Prevention Accelerator—a powerful suite of evidence-based toolkits designed to help schools, coalitions, and youth-serving organizations across the country prevent youth substance use and promote mental, emotional, and behavioral health. Grounded in the Strategic Prevention Framework, each toolkit provides ready-to-use, research-based content from trusted sources like CDC, SAMHSA, and NIDA.
