Community Corporation of Santa Monica is a nonprofit organization based in Santa Monica, California, that develops, restores, and manages affordable housing for people of modest means. Founded through incorporation in 1982, it aims to preserve the city's social and economic diversity by expanding affordable housing options. Over the years, the organization has built or renovated more than 90 properties, creating about 1,700 affordable homes and affecting the lives of more than 4,000 people annually. The organization also provides on-site resident programs aligned with local resources, centered on four areas: wellness and sustainability, arts and community building, youth development, and older adults and resiliency. Its activities are overseen by a 15-member board that reflects Santa Monica's diversity and includes housing and finance professionals, residents, and other relevant experts. One recent development is a 2026 partnership with the St. Joseph Center to deliver on-site support services.
