And, at the Community Foundation for Western Iowa, our role is to solidly connect folks in our communities that are committed to making a difference and creating durable positive impact with the most pressing issues and compelling projects to enhance the quality and vibrance in Western Iowa.  

The Community Foundation serves thousands of people who share a common interest – to improve the quality of life in Western Iowa. Individuals, families, businesses, and organizations create durable, lasting impact through their permanent charitable funds.  

As investors in our community, donors who utilize the Community Foundation to effectively connect to the causes they are most passionate about are confident and secure in knowing their funds are working hard to create the most impact.  As a nationally-accredited community foundation, we are governed by a volunteer board of community-minded leaders and managed by professionals with expertise in identifying the needs of our community.
