Congregation Kehillath Israel is a traditional inclusive synagogue located in Brookline, Massachusetts, with roots dating to 1917. It has long been a recognized presence in its community and operates within the religious institutions sector, focusing on worship and communal life. Its modern campus is activated through synergetic partnerships with other religious and social organizations, including Congregation Mishkan Tefila, Yachad, 2Life Communities (formerly Jewish Community Housing for the Elderly), Washington Square Minyan, and Center Makor, among others.

It aims to foster belonging and ongoing relationships across generations, addressing social isolation through its programs and collaborations. A notable development in 2019 was a partnership with 2Life Communities to create a multi-generational community addressing social isolation and housing affordability. This positions the congregation as an enduring Brookline institution with a broader role in North American Jewish life.
