Connected Credit Union is a member-owned banking cooperative based in Augusta, Maine. Its history traces to 1967 when it was chartered as the Maine Teachers Association Credit Union to serve educators across the state, later adopting the Maine Education Credit Union name. In 2005 it broadened its field of membership by acquiring Chestnut Community Credit Union, extending access to people living or working in Kennebec and Somerset Counties, and the name was changed to Connected Credit Union in 2014.

In 2020, a partnership with Winslow Community Federal Credit Union expanded its membership base to include residents and workers in Lincoln and Waldo Counties. Today it serves over 7,800 members and provides traditional banking services such as accounts, loans, and mobile banking. In April 2026 the institution disclosed a data breach affecting member information.
