The Connecticut Forest & Park Association (CFPA) is a nonprofit conservation organization, founded in 1895 as the first of its kind in Connecticut, and based in Rockfall, Connecticut. Its mission is to connect people with Connecticut’s forests, parks, and Blue-Blazed Hiking Trails to ensure these places are protected and well managed for future generations. A small professional staff collaborates with volunteers to maintain 825 miles of Blue-Blazed Trails, ensure conservation has a voice at the state Capitol, offer educational programs for the general public and landowners, and protect over 2,000 acres as a statewide land trust.
