The Connecticut State Medical Society is a professional association in the hospitals and health care sector that represents physicians and physicians in training across Connecticut. Founded in 1792, the organization is based in North Haven, Connecticut. Its mission is to be the voice of all Connecticut physicians, to lead advocacy for physicians, to promote the medical profession, to improve quality of care, and to safeguard the health of patients. CSMS focuses on advocacy and policy work for its members within the state's medical community. In July 2025, it announced a partnership with KONZA, Inc. to offer CTHL, a physician-led health information network that enables secure exchange of patient information and provides analytic insights intended to guide policy, improve clinical outcomes, reduce inefficiencies, and strengthen patient safety and privacy.
