Conway Medical Center is a private, not-for-profit hospital in the United States within the Hospitals and Health Care industry. The facility began in downtown Conway about 60 years ago with six physicians on staff and has since expanded to a medical staff of more than 200 representing many specialties. The hospital employs approximately 1,400 people and is described as one of the county's largest employers. In 2009, after more than three years of construction, it dedicated a new Patient Bed Tower designed to promote healing, featuring streamlined nursing stations, modern technology, and rooms accommodating patients and families.
