Corn Belt Energy Corporation is a not-for-profit, member-owned electric cooperative based in Bloomington, Illinois. Founded in 1938 to extend electricity to rural residents, the co-op now serves more than 35,000 homes and businesses across 18 counties in Central Illinois, maintaining over 5,000 miles of distribution lines.
