Cornell Scott - Hill Health Center is a Federally Qualified Health Center based in New Haven, in the Greater New Haven region. Founded in 1968 through a collaboration between the Hill Parents Association and Yale School of Medicine, it began as a pediatric-focused effort and expanded to provide comprehensive care in neighboring neighborhoods. Its mission is to measurably improve the community health and well-being by delivering high-quality, compassionate care that is accessible to all. Today, the center serves more than 55,000 patients annually through 35 care sites, including 21 school-based health centers, with services spanning New Haven, Hamden, West Haven and Ansonia. As Connecticut's first federally funded health center, it emphasizes equitable access, supported by programs such as a sliding fee scale for underinsured or uninsured patients, and it serves residents across 143 of Connecticut's 169 cities and towns.
