Founded by John W. Lubinski in February of 1999, located in Stow Ohio, County Fire Protection was known as "Summit County Fire Protection". As our customer base grew well beyond the immediate area and outside the State of Ohio, the name was changed to County Fire Protection to reflect our ever expanding service area. Reflective of growth, the company moved to Tallmadge in 2001, purchased 5400 sq. ft. facility on Geneva Ave. In 2003, we opened our Toledo, Ohio facility. In June, 2009, County Fire Protection purchased a 12,000 sq. ft facility located in Kent, Ohio. This move, more than doubled our capacity. Since its inception, County Fire Protection has added a wide range of services to our capabilities, beyond fire extinguisher service, to include: Fire Alarms, Sprinkler / Fire Pumps, Exit Emergency Lights, Fire Dept Ground Ladder Testing, DOT Hydrostatic Testing, FM200/Halon/CO2 Systems, Security/Access Controls and We Opened a Marine Division. Our State Licensed and highly trained service technicians are available 24Hrs a day, 365 days a year to meet all customer needs professionally and cost effectively. County Fire Protection is a proud distributor of the following products: Pyrochem, Amerex, Buckeye, Fire-Trace, Task Force Tips, as well as others.
