CREST is an international not-for-profit membership body that represents the global cyber security sector. Based in London, England, it quality assures its members and issues professional certifications to the cyber security workforce. It accredits more than 500 member companies and certifies thousands of professionals worldwide. Its structure is devolved, with regional chapters covering the Americas, Asia, Australasia and EMEA, in addition to the United Kingdom as the founding chapter, while CREST International provides central services. The organization collaborates with governments, regulators, academia, training partners and other stakeholders to support the development of qualified professionals and the provision of cyber security services.
