In 1989, Jim Crockett opened a full service interconnect and phone system company, Telecom Support Services or TSS, in Austin, Texas. Specializing in installing and servicing high quality business voice mail and phone systems at competitive prices, Jim merged TSS with TDI, Telephone Distributors, Inc., in 1995, another family owned company founded in Austin in 1982.

With a common goal and commitment to bringing customers the best quality and value in business communications equipment and service, the combined strengths of both companies helped existing customers as well as new clients needing a business phone system in Austin and the surrounding area. We were able to provide a wider selection in products and exceptional support and technical expertise.

In 2005, we became Crockett Communications, and as we continue to grow and evolve through the ceaseless and remarkable advancements in business communications technology, our team remains dedicated to preserving the fundamental values that have characterized our businesses and operations for decades.
