Cross Road Retirement Community is a not-for-profit founded by The Cross Road Baptist Church in 1983. Open to all faiths, Cross Road offers Independent Living, Assisted Living, & Assisted Living Memory Care. Staff are Certified Nursing Assistants who give loving, compassionate care to our residents. We have an RN who serves as Resident Care Director in our Main Center. The Alzheimer's Center also has a Resident Care Director. We are fortunate to have an Activity Director for Independent Living & Assisted Livings. Quality of life is top priority for our residents. We have a deck & fishing pond with a pier, goats, geese, ducks, The General Store, walking trails, & Dream Makers Program. Dream Makers is a program created by Cross Road Retirement Community to make the dreams of our residents come true if possible. A committee meets monthly to discuss resident dreams. Fundraisers are held during the year to support the program. Some of the things that set us apart: - Longevity - Not-for-Porfit - Staff who have been there for 18-29 years - Quality of life programs like Dream Makers - The General Store - RN on staff My mother was in our Alzheimer's Center. I would not have wanted her anywhere else. I can speak as a family member that the staff loved & cared for my mother. She loved them too! Peace of mind is so important to families.
