Cryomagnetics was established in 1983 and has become a global leader in superconducting magnets and magnet technology.  Sales efforts include domestic sales from our headquarters in Oak Ridge, Tennessee and a network of representatives covering the United Kingdom, Europe, South America and Asia.

Cryomagnetics is a premier manufacturer of superconducting magnets, systems, related instrumentation and cryogenic accessories. Efficient designs allow for smaller cryocooler use (dry) or less helium consumption (wet). Single or multi-axis designs are available in standard and high field configurations. Cryomagnetics pioneered the first totally cryogen-FREE superconducting magnet systems and in recent years these have become routine. From complex gyrotron magnet systems to Ion Cyclotron Resonance and ion trap applications, cryogen-FREE systems are our company's primary expertise.  

Since Incorporation in 1983, Cryomagnetics has grown to include an employee role of approximately 80 with a manufacturing campus consisting of four buildings comprising ~35,000 ft2.  Production capabilities include 10,000 square feet of machine and tooling including multi-axis CAD/CAM and additive manufacturing.  Green practices are employed throughout our test bays using our coolant re-circulation system. Complete In-house manufacturing of wet or dry systems by our skilled team of certified welders and craftspeople assure the highest quality, backed by an industry best, 2-year warranty.

Built for the unique demands of superconducting magnets, the Model 4G power supply feature unrivaled performance and standard features. The model LM-510 may be configured as single/dual channel or recondensing controller.  Also available: Model 612/614 Temperature Monitor and GM-700 gaussmeter. 
   
System accessories include: VTI’s, He3 inserts, dilution refrigerators, HTS or duty-cycle optimized current leads, LHe and LN2 sensors, Hall effect sensors, temperature sensors.
