CSE Federal Credit Union was established on December 7, 1943 with an  original field of membership consisting of the employees of Cities Service Refining Corporation, the employees of CSE Federal Credit Union, members of their immediate families and organizations of such persons. Fast forward to 2021, CSE is a community-chartered credit union with assets greater than $460M and Membership available to any "Person who live, work or even regularly conduct business in, worship, attend school in, volunteers in the community and businesses and other legal entities in Calcasieu, Cameron, Jefferson Davis, Allen, Beauregard and Vernon Parishes, Louisiana"
