OUR MISSION We help seniors flourish through active engagement with their community. WHY SENIORS We live in a world in which many people, including seniors, face challenges that make it difficult to flourish in their communities. For seniors these unique challenges often take the form of physical and mental health issues, economic pressures, loss of family and friends, and cultural and community isolation. Not knowing how you or your loved one will continue their day-to-day activities can cause significant stress. We have dedicated ourselves to helping seniors flourish by reconnecting them—as recipients and contributors—with their surrounding communities. Through our volunteer-driven services and programs we have created a community of volunteers, both young and old, who embrace our senior neighbors as family and as valued members of our community. HOW WE DO IT Our programs provide clients with access to transportation, health and friendship. Carry-Out Caravan: Volunteers take orders, shop for, and deliver groceries to seniors who have transportation or mobility challenges. Medical Mobility: Volunteers use their own vehicles to provide escorted transportation to and from medical appointments. Fix-It: Volunteers perform minor safety-related home repairs including grab bar installation and wheelchair repair. YardBusters: Volunteers perform basic yard cleanup to help seniors comply with regulations and reduce falls. IceBusters: Volunteers shovel snow to help seniors comply with regulations and to reduce their risk of falling. RSVP: We match individuals ages 55+ who provide real impact in giving back to their community. Cultivate is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Cultivate is formerly Boulder County CareConnect.
