The Curated Storefront, a program of Art Resources Transformations (ART), is an ongoing series of exhibits that activates empty storefronts with art installations in downtown Akron, Ohio along Main, Market, and Exchange streets. This progressive public art program enriches the community and enhances the quality of life in the greater Akron area. For the past two years, Curated Storefront has presented engaging artwork in multiple unused spaces, commissioned and employed artists, offered educational outreach programs to better engage the public, and stimulated commercial development.

Our Mission: to bring compelling art to diverse audiences through a dynamic program of installations, events, and exhibits that activate underutilized buildings and spaces in Akron and provide artists with opportunities to expand their practices.
