Custom Production Grinding, based in metropolitan Milwaukee, provides precision grinding and honing of cylindrical parts, and surface grinding, for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and other companies in the United States. We can meet tolerances to 0.0001 inch diameter, lengths to 0.0004 inches, and surface finishes of 8 Ra. Custom Production Grinding's management system conforms and is certified to the Quality Management System standard ISO 9001:2015. All the instruments, gages and inspection equipment we use to verify that we meet part specifications are regularly certified for accurate performance. Our services include: • CNC OD Grinding • Centerless Thru-Feed and In-Feed Grinding • ID Grinding and Honing • Semi-Automatic/Universal OD Grinding • Surface Grinding We can make special tooling in order to grind difficult parts such as crankshafts and other eccentric parts. We provide prototype runs as well as high production runs. All our work is done in a climate-controlled 33,000-square-foot facility that also has a quality control inspection room that has its own HVAC system.
