Cutolo Barros LLC (the “Firm” or “Cutolo Barros”) was founded to provide clients with the best in legal services at reasonable rates and in a cost-effective manner. The primary focus of the Firm is counsel to numerous homeowners, condominium associations and cooperatives, in collection matters and corporate governance and litigation matters.  In addition, the Firm represents individuals and businesses in connection with commercial litigation matters involving financial institutions law, collection, insurance and reinsurance issues and corporate and contract work on behalf of its clients.   

The Firm and its attorneys work closely with clients to fully understand their particular needs and develop strategies to accomplish their goals, protect them from unnecessary risks and help manage those that are inherent to their business. We assist our clients in the effective management of legal problems so our clients can concentrate on running their operations.  

The philosophy of the Firm with respect to litigation is to develop a strategy for proceeding at the earliest possible stages based upon an analysis of the merits of the case, potential exposure weighed against the anticipated result, costs associated with obtaining that result and the long term effects of a potential published decision. The major goals for proceeding in this manner are twofold; first, try to achieve the best overall economic result for the case at hand, second, use the experience gained to assist our clients in the long term management of risks associated with their business by assessing that experience against existing practices and making adjustments to improve operations where warranted, i.e., assist clients to minimize negative history “repeating itself.”
