In 1997 Claudia Diorio, Lance Smith and Joan Smith, veterans of the multifamily flooring industry, opened the doors of Cutting Edge Carpet in Orlando, Florida. Their goal then and now is to provide fast, professional flooring installations to their customers. In 2003, Cutting Edge Carpet opened a second facility in Jacksonville, Florida. Cutting Edge Carpet's service area now encompasses nearly all of Florida and into South Georgia.
