About Dade Real Estate Investors Association Our mission is simply to serve the needs of real estate investors of all levels in their business pursuits, by creating a dynamic and effective organization. An organization that is committed to growth and development within a professional environment. Dade Real Estate Investor’s goal is to become the number one investment group in South Florida. History of DREIA In October 1996, the Dade Real Estate Investors Association was formed in Miami to provide a forum where investors and vendors could network, educate one another with the help of local and national speakers. The founders also wanted members to find a nurturing and friendly atmosphere within the club. Thus was born the club motto: Learn, Earn, and Party with a Purpose. This philosophy has helped us become the largest investment club in South Florida. It was not our intent to become the biggest club, just the best club. All club profits are used to pay for our meetings, newsletter, website, special events, holiday party, member benefits and general operating expenses. The Association’s Philosophy, Purpose and Goals DREIA’s commitment to its members is clearly defined in the single purpose of the Association: to assist its members in succeeding in their real estate investment plans by providing continuing education, motivation and opportunity in a positive and mutually supportive environment. Our direction is further expressed through the basic principles the Association follows of professional practices for real estate investors: 1. People come first. 2. Real Estate investing is a step-by-step process. 3. High standards of ethics and professionalism must be reflected in investor transactions. 4. Education’s purpose is action. 5. Investors must maintain a positive approach in solving people’s problems through real estate investing.
