The Daily Trojan is the student newspaper serving the University of Southern California, based in Los Angeles, California. It functions as a forum for student expression and is produced, edited, and managed by USC students. Although published by the university, day-to-day operations are handled by student editors and staff. The newspaper traces its origins to 1912 and has historically fostered free and responsible discussion and intellectual exploration within the USC community.

In the context of the campus press and broader newspaper publishing, it informs and entertains the USC community from a student perspective. A concrete recent development is that on April 27, 2021, Daily Trojan launched LavaLab for impact to support USC's Black community with entrepreneurship.
