Daimler Buses North America Alums and Fans is an alumni-focused organization dedicated to former employees of Daimler Buses North America, which included brands such as Orion, Setra, and ThomasDennis, and later Sprinter Shuttle Bus. The entity reflects the North American bus manufacturing footprint with production sites in Greensboro, North Carolina; Oriskany, New York; and Mississauga, Ontario, and it is associated with a legacy that included Orion, a leading hybrid-electric bus maker before its market exit. The organization notes that DBNA became defunct in 20XX, while preserving the history and stories of its workforce. Based in Greensboro, the group operates within the motor vehicle manufacturing industry, serving as a historical reference for former employees and the brands they helped bring to market. In 2026, reports indicate Daimler engaged in partnerships with other automakers, reflecting ongoing collaboration activity within the broader Daimler portfolio.
