Jason Danner started Danner Distribution in March 2004 in order to satisfy the needs of a customer.  At that time, Jason worked as sales manager for Leland-Powell Fasteners, Inc. a domestic manufacturer of fasteners in Martin, TN.   Jason had started selling fasteners to an automotive account and Leland-Powell made the decision to not sell in the automotive market.  Since Jason had just started the account and had made commitments to the personnel at the automotive customers, he felt personally responsible and didn’t want to let those people down.  He discussed the problem with the management staff of Leland Powell and decided to purchase their entire inventory and sell to them directly.

Since that time, Danner Distribution had grown into a key component in the automotive industries need to purchase low cost, high quality items from Asia.  Most Tier II and Tier III automotive plants do not have the space, personnel or contacts to import their components directly from overseas and that’s where Danner Distribution fits.  Utilizing their contacts in Asia and their warehouse centrally located in the United States in Nashville, TN; Danner Distribution imports all types of product. 

The major product line for Danner Distribution is steel product.  We primarily import precision stampings, screws, nuts, bolts, and assemblies, although we also import some rubber product, plastic, and neoprene; and service the automobile, lawn & garden, engine, agricultural, and furniture markets.
