Darby Development Company, Inc. was established by R. Gordon Darby in 1968. He began in real estate sales. From there, Mr. Darby made the transition to building as well as selling single-family homes. The portfolio now consists of office space; light industrial, industrial, & warehouse space; and multi-family apartment communities—including both conventional apartments and subsidized apartments. Third-party management is also an offering of this firm, which includes apartment communities and HOA management as well.
