The de Havilland Aircraft Museum (DHAMT) is a charitable organization focused on preserving Sir Geoffrey de Havilland’s aircraft and related aviation technology. Located in Shenley, England, it operates as a volunteer-driven institution with a collection that emphasizes historical de Havilland designs, notably the Mosquito, Sea Vixen, and Comet, alongside exhibits on radar, engines, missiles, and wartime aviation. The museum provides an educational experience through aircraft interiors that illustrate the evolution of jet travel, ongoing restoration work, a bookshop, art displays, and a café area accessible without entering the main museum, serving a broad audience of aviation enthusiasts and researchers. As the oldest aviation museum in the UK, it situates itself within the broader museums, historical sites, and zoos sector by preserving and presenting mid-20th century aerospace history to visitors six days a week.
