Decision •  Partners Inc. understands influences on people’s judgment, decision making and behavior. For more than two decades, Decision Partners has been leading development and implementation of research-based initiatives at public at private organizations across a broad range of application areas, including those related to emergency preparedness, energy and infrastructure, public health, organizational transformation, stakeholder engagement, climate change, sustainability and resilience. A sample of current or recent past clients we have worked with on related challenges include: EPCOR Utilities Inc., the Independent Electricity System Operator, the Ontario Power Authority, the Chamber of Mines of South Africa; Health Canada and the Public Health Agency of Canada; the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers; the U.S. Food and Drug Administration; the U.S. National Library of Medicine; NATO; the Water Environment Research Center; and numerous public and private sector companies in Canada, the U.S. and beyond. 

In February 2016, Decision Partners, LLC. received a patent for its Mental Modeling Method and System. The patent inventors are Sarah Thorne, Gordon Butte and Baruch Fischhoff, PhD, Howard Heinz University Professor, Department of Engineering and Public Policy, Institute of Politics and Strategy at Carnegie Mellon University.
