As one of the oldest, most experienced, and well respected CPA firms in Stockton we are committed to providing close, personal attention to our clients. Arnold Rue & Art Snell, now deceased, founded the Firm in 1946. The current four partners are John H DeGregori, Peter G Gormsen, Bill D Ringer & Katherine R Williams. John H DeGregori: He merged with the Firm in 1974 after the death of his partner David Stagnaro. He specializes in estate planning, working with survivors to help with the transition of business and personal assets. He also provides a full range of tax & financial services. Peter G Gormsen: He was admitted as a partner in 1976. He is the designated partner in charge of the Firm's quality control. He also provides a full range of tax & financial services. Bill D Ringer: He was admitted as a partner in 1979. His expertise is in tax with a heavy individual income tax practice. He also has strong expertise in estate planning both pre- and post-death. Bill holds a Juris Doctorate from Humphreys College and is a member of the State Bar of California. Katherine R Williams: She was admitted as a partner in 2007. Kathy has been with the Firm since 1977 and as well as being a CPA has a Masters in Taxation and a Juris Doctorate from Humphreys College. Professional staff includes: Gabrielle Hartzler: She holds a BS degree in Business Administration. She is licensed in both the States of Mississippi and California. Olivia Wang: Olivia has earned a Masters in Economics. She became Certified in 2003 and joined the Firm in 2005. Angel Maldonado: Angel has earned his Masters in Accounting from the University of the Pacific. He became Certified in 2017 and joined the Firm the same year. All of our partners and professional staff are members of both the AICPA and the California Society of CPAs. As with any organization, support staff is a vital part of the Firm's success. Therefore, a wide variety of support staff is available to assist our clientele.
