Denny Manufacturing Co., Inc. is the world’s largest manufacturer of photographic backdrops, props and related studio accessories. We create computer and hand painted backdrops for photographers around the world. Denny Mfg. began with a mission to provide high quality, innovative products, and is still known as doing such today.

Denny Mfg. was founded by owner Dennis “Denny” Variali in 1971. As a photographer himself, he became frustrated with the lack of products offered in the industry. Denny hired an artist to paint a photography backdrop and just days later the Denny Co. was born (later The Denny Manufacturing Co., Inc.).

Denny Mfg. has continued to expand to the now 98,000 square foot facility. Denny Mfg. has kept their commitment to enhancing the photography industry by creating innovative, quality products for all photographers. Denny Mfg. is the creator of the original Freedom Cloth ®, a wrinkle-free backdrop cloth made of a muslin-like material. Our innovative neoprene Roll Up floors are the perfect complement to our backdrops, rolling up for easy storage and providing an extremely realistic look. Many of these products were all introduced to the photographic industry FIRST by Denny Mfg.
