Department of Finance is a central agency that provides leadership and strategic advice across the public sector to support the delivery of services throughout Western Australia. We undertake a vital role within the WA Government to sustain and grow the economy while supporting communities. Our services are diverse, reflecting our commitment to excellence across five core areas: Advise, Build, Buy, Collect, and Deliver. We lead whole-of-government procurement, provide leadership, advice and deliver infrastructure projects such as schools, hospitals and community facilities. We collect revenue on behalf of government and administer the payment of grants and subsidies to the community.
