Niche telecom and architecture Derra Design specializes in both architecture and telecommunications infrastructure, including new cell site development, DAS installations, and central office modifications. This presents a cross-selling opportunity to offer integrated building design and telecom-ready workflows for clients undergoing network deployments.

Energy efficient focus Their emphasis on energy efficient custom homes, renovations, and senior living suggests potential projects where sustainable design and retrofit expertise are valued. Pitch services around green building certifications, energy modeling, and cost-saving long-term operations.

Small firm agility With a lean team and a 2-10 employee size, Derra can be highly responsive to targeted proposals and fast-track commissions. Sales strategies should emphasize customized, fast-delivery architectural services aligned with telecom deployment schedules.

Mid-market potential Revenue in the range of 1M–10M and a profile similar to mid-market architecture firms indicate room to expand through larger telecom and multi-family or senior living projects, leveraging scope to win multi-site or renovation programs.

Tech-enabled partnerships Current tech stack shows standard web and hosting tools; opportunity exists to propose integrated project management, BIM collaboration, and data-driven design solutions that streamline coordination with telecom vendors, carriers, and construction teams.
