Diesel Driving Academy is a higher education institution that specializes in truck driver training. Established in 1972, it has a history of preparing individuals for trucking careers and placing graduates with employers. The school operates programs in Shreveport, Baton Rouge, and Little Rock, aiming to equip students with the skills and endorsements sought by major transportation companies.

Its primary customers are people pursuing entry into high-paying trucking roles and truckload carriers seeking qualified drivers. The training is designed to cover practical skills and credentials that top carriers require. In March 2022, the Alliance Safety Council entered into a partnership with the academy to help ensure training content aligns with current industry terminology and needs.
