digitalswitzerland is a mid-sized non-profit organization based in Zurich that aims to advance Switzerland’s digital capabilities. It acts as a collaborative platform connecting leaders from business, politics, academia, and public administration to address digital challenges facing the country. The organization runs events such as Digital Summit Switzerland, and the 2026 gathering brought around 200 decision-makers together to discuss the nation’s digital future and AI priorities. Recent initiatives include developing practical AI guidance, notably an AI adoption handbook produced with Implement Consulting Group and the launch of a Swiss AI action plan. Its activities reflect a cross-sector approach that engages a network of decision-makers across business, government, academia, and public administration to translate digital strategy into action. In addition to policy and events, digitalswitzerland has pursued sector-focused initiatives, such as the Digital Health Academy launched in 2023 with Swiss Healthcare Startups and the 2022 launch of a website for its 4T-DLT initiative.
